We are closed on weekends (Dr. Jones is often the on site vet at many out of town dog trials and events on weekends) and major holidays.

House calls are by appointment only at 719-920-8269 .

If you reach the voice mail between the hours of 8 AM and 7 PM Monday through Friday, we are likely assisting other clients.  Dr. Jones does not generally answer the phone during an appointment as a courtesy to all clients, so please leave a detailed voice mail message or text message if you reach the voicemail and we will get back to you as soon as possible with a return call or text, generally by the same or next business day.  

Alternatively, you can Email Us your requests.  We also sometimes get upwards of 40 to 50 e-mails per day and occasionally one does get lost in the shuffle, so if you send an e-mail and get no response within 3 days, please try again.

NOTE ON EMERGENCIES:  Due to the scope of a house call practice, we typically can only see certain non-life threatening emergencies for regular patients, such as minor wound repairs or mild to moderate gastrointestinal upset (vomiting and diarrhea).  We refer all major, life threatening emergencies to the nearest 24/7 emergency hospital nearest you. Please call the following emergency or urgent care facilities before visiting to make sure they can accommodate your pet.

We will see after hours emergency at home euthanasias as our schedule allows.  If you reach the voice mail after hours, please leave a detailed message and Dr. Jones will call you back if time allows.  If your pet's health is in decline and you believe euthanasia may be imminent, please contact us so we can plan accordingly for your beloved friend.
